I recently finished this painting of my friend and fellow artist, Cody Chamberlain. I took the photo the painting is based on while we were on one of our many Utah rock art/petroglyph expeditions. I'll add some more photos from those excursions in coming days. We have spent many memorable times exploring the far corners of this amazing state, from Bears Ears to the Great Salt Lake, communing with the ancients, and imagining the lives of the people who created these images.
